What is green woodworking?
Green woodworking works with freshly felled, unseasoned timber, which cuts far more easily than the dried stuff. It is hand tools, often outdoors, using a shave horse and a drawknife. Chairs, stools, spoons and rakes all come out of this tradition, and it predates sawmills and kiln drying entirely.
Dates, prices and places are set by Sustainability Centre, not by us, and can change at any time. Always confirm the details with them before you travel.
When does it run?
Dates. When we last checked, Sustainability Centre was advertising 4th December 2026. Dates move and sell out, so treat this as a guide and confirm with them.

Who do I book with?
You book directly with Sustainability Centre. Woodwork UK does not take bookings, does not add a fee, and is not paid for the link. They set the dates, the price and the number of places.
