Terms of use
Woodwork UK is operated by Fixr Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using this site you accept the terms below. They are short because the site does very little: it lists things and links to them.
What this site is
A free directory of hobby woodworking courses, community workshops and furniture restorers in the United Kingdom. It is free to use and free to be listed. Nobody pays to appear and nobody can pay for a better position.
What we do not do
- We do not run any course, workshop, shed or restoration business listed here.
- We take no booking and no payment. Every listing links to the provider, and any booking, payment, contract or refund is between you and them.
- We do not vet, endorse, rank or recommend anyone. We publish no reviews and no ratings.
- We are not connected to the UK Men's Sheds Association, to any school, or to any business listed.
Accuracy
Listings are compiled from what providers publish about themselves and are checked, but details change without us knowing. Prices and dates belong to the provider and are a guide, never a quote. Each listing is dated to when we last looked. Always check with the provider before travelling or paying.
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it. If you are listed here and would rather not be, tell us and we will take the listing down.
Links to other sites
Outbound links go to sites we do not control and are not responsible for. Links are checked periodically, but a site can change hands or go offline between checks.
Our content
The written descriptions, counts, groupings and analysis on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote and cite them with a link. A listing's own photographs belong to that business; the other photographs are used under the licences named on the photo credits page, which credits every one. Do not copy the listing set wholesale to build a competing directory.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. We are not liable for any loss arising from a booking you make with a provider, from a provider's acts or omissions, or from relying on a price or date that had changed since we last checked. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
