Add your listing
If you teach woodwork, run a club, or supply timber and you are not on this list, we want you on it. It is free.
We take no commission and no booking fee. People find you here and go straight to your own site to book. We take nothing from the fee.
Email [email protected] with a link to your site and we will take it from there. There is no form to fill in and nothing to sign. Our privacy notice says what we do with your email.
Something wrong with your listing?
Prices change and courses stop running. Tell us what is wrong and we will correct it, usually the same week. Removal on request, no questions asked.
Questions makers ask us
What does it cost to be listed?
Nothing. Listing is free. We take no commission, add no booking fee, and charge nothing for a listing or for a better position in one. Nobody can pay to rank above anyone else, because there is nothing to buy.
What do I actually get?
A page of your own, listing everything you teach, with your own photograph, what you charge, where you are and a link straight to your booking page. You also appear on the pages for your town, your county and each craft you teach. We currently list 527 courses from 175 makers and schools across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Do you take my bookings or my money?
No. We never handle a booking, a payment or a customer's details. Every link goes straight to your own site or your own booking platform, and we take nothing from the fee. We are a signpost, not a middleman.
What do you need from me?
A link to your site is enough to start. From there we read the same public pages a customer would: what you teach, what it costs, how long it runs and where. If something on your page is ambiguous we would rather ask you than guess, which is why we would like an email address to check against. We do not publish your email or your phone number, and our privacy notice says what we do with it.
How do I correct something, or come off the list?
Email and say so. Corrections are usually done the same week. Removal is on request, immediately, and with no questions asked and nothing to argue about. That applies whether you asked to be listed or we found you.
You listed me without asking. Is that allowed?
Everything we hold came off pages you published publicly, and we link to you rather than reproducing your course. That is how a directory works. It is also entirely reasonable to want no part of it, so the removal above is unconditional and permanent, and we keep a note of the request so nothing re-adds you later.
