What the course involves
A five-day green woodworking course with Tree Ditions in East Linton.
What is green woodworking?
Green woodworking works with freshly felled, unseasoned timber, which cuts far more easily than the dried stuff. It is hand tools, often outdoors, using a shave horse and a drawknife. Chairs, stools, spoons and rakes all come out of this tradition, and it predates sawmills and kiln drying entirely.
Dates, prices and places are set by Tree Ditions, not by us, and can change at any time. Always confirm the details with them before you travel.
