What the course involves
A week-long general woodwork course with Rowden Atelier in Drewsteignton.
What is general woodwork?
A general woodwork course teaches the foundations rather than one craft: measuring and marking, sawing straight, planing flat, cutting a joint that actually closes, and sharpening the tools that do it. It is the right starting point if you are not yet sure which direction you want to go in.
Dates, prices and places are set by Rowden Atelier, not by us, and can change at any time. Always confirm the details with them before you travel.

Questions people ask before booking
Do I need to bring my own tools?
Rowden Atelier does not state on their page whether tools are provided for this course. Ask them before you book, because a hand woodworking course can assume you bring your own.
Is £1,250 a fair price for this?
Most 3 to 5 day woodworking courses on this site cost between £400 and £995. At £1,250 this one sits above almost all of them, out of 34 we hold a price for. Price alone will not tell you which suits you: group size and what is included matter as much.
Who do I book with?
You book directly with Rowden Atelier. Woodwork UK does not take bookings, does not add a fee, and is not paid for the link. They set the dates, the price and the number of places.
