What the course covers
- When
- Any time, at your own pace
A recorded general woodwork course from Ash And Company. You work through it at your own pace. Ash And Company say it suits beginners and people with some experience.
What is general woodwork?
A general woodwork course teaches the foundations rather than one craft: measuring and marking, sawing straight, planing flat, cutting a joint that actually closes, and sharpening the tools that do it. It is the right starting point if you are not yet sure which direction you want to go in.
Dates, prices and places are set by Ash And Company, not by us, and can change at any time. Always confirm the details with them before you book.
Where is it?
This one is online, so there is nowhere to travel to. Ash And Company provides it as a recorded course you work through in your own time.
Questions people ask before booking
Do I need to bring my own tools?
Ash And Company does not state on their page whether tools are provided for this course. Ask them before you book, because a hand woodworking course can assume you bring your own.
Is it suitable for a complete beginner?
Yes. Ash And Company bills this course as suiting people starting from scratch as well as those with some experience who want to develop further, so a mixed-ability group is expected.
Who do I book with?
You book directly with Ash And Company. Woodwork UK does not take bookings, does not add a fee, and is not paid for the link. They set the dates, the price and the number of places.
